Re-imagining veterinary clinic management
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest and oldest dog welfare charity. It cares for over 14,000 dogs through its network of 21 rehoming centres in the UK and one in Dublin. While working hard to find forever homes for all the animals in its care, it must also deliver the very best in clinical care. To continue to deliver on its mission, Dogs Trust recognised the need to innovate their clinical software, streamline their systems and undertake a digital transformation.
Challenging the status quo
Dogs Trust UK knew they need to modernise their clinical function and for it to integrate seamlessly with their existing systems to refresh and revamp their workflows. Not only that, for a successful outcome, it meant sound, switched-on and thoughtful training for their 400 staff members.
Change management is a common issue in new technology adoption for the veterinary industry and particularly in the COVID-19 era, it’s more relevant than ever to take charge of the change process and keep everyone connected, motivated and maintain their wellbeing.
It’s a no-brainer that, happier staff perform better overall. And will have more time to focus on their important duties – in this case, helping Dogs Trust UK better themselves in the value of service they delivered, have greater meaning and purpose, as well as more time to take care of the pets in need.
