Introducing the new features of RxWorks
The new features and general improvements are designed to save you time managing your practice, help you build stronger relationships with your clients, and give you more options to streamline your processes in a way that best suits you.
RxWorks Version 5.6 is the first time core features are easily accessible on your mobile or tablet device when connected to your clinic WiFi. Along with Kiosk Mode delivered in 5.5, you can now take and seamlessly upload photos directly to RxWorks, message your colleagues, and see the appointment scheduler – all from the palm of your hand.
RxWorks Version 5.6 is a glimpse of the future. It’s the most exciting release we have had in a long time, and the team at Covetrus are all excited for our practices to update for free so that they access the new and improved features. Jacque Pollitt, Product Evangelist at Covetrus
Another exciting feature for you and your clients is the introduction of PetSure’s GapOnly insurance claims. The new GapOnly feature enables the client to pay the gap only, and PetSure to pay you, the clinic, directly as well as enhancements to PetSure’s existing e-claims integration.
Provet has also released an integrated payment portal, Payment Express Portal (for clinics in Australia). This new payment integration gives clinics more options to design CarePlans and DropShip payment options that best suit you and your clients.
Other new and updated features include; saving time with new bundle charges and editing, a new query builder to better personalise marketing flows, and an additional option to manage how much and how often a component can be used on a patient’s care plan.

Our featured RxWorks Community Request
Each month the team receive a number of requests from practices about features they want to see in RxWorks. Most of these requests come from the RxWorks Community Forum, accessed with your portal login on our website. One of the key feature changes incorporated in the RxWorks version 5.6 – we’ve updated the workflow of deactivating clients and patients to help reduce mistakes. It’s always sad to see them go, but it’s important workflows keep client and patient records up-to-date with minimal room for error.
